Fused glass bowl with opal red "ribbons" and black stringers, then shaped in a drop ring slump, and finally finished with a polished rim. In this piece the ribbons appear to float through the clear glass, twisting with the shape of the bowl.  The black edging only strengthens and creates a stunning the contrast.
